Q:  I HAVE RECEIVED MY LAB RESULTS FROM MY PHYSICIAN IN THE PAST.  THE RESULTS ARE OFTEN CONFUSING TO ME. DO YOU PROVIDE SOME KIND OF SUMMARY TO HELP ME UNDERSTAND THE RESULTS?  ​

  Absolutely!

A: If an abnormal lab is identified, a written explanation of the significance of that abnormal lab will be provided along with treatment recommendations.

Q:  CAN DOC PRESCRIBE A NEW DIABETES MEDICATION I HAVE SEEN ON TELEVISION?

A:  Doc will refill existing medications for an established diagnosis.  Modifying blood pressure, diabetes, or thyroid medication regimens is best left to your primary care provider.

Q:  WHAT MEDICATIONS WILL DOC REFILL?

A:  Medications for treating blood pressure, diabetes, hypothyroidism, GERD, elevated cholesterol, and vitamins.  We may consider other medications on a case by case basis.

Q: WILL DOC REFILL MY DIABETES TEST STRIPS?  ​

A:  Yes!  Doc recognizes the importance of good glycemic control so all diabetic medications, as well as necessary supplies, can be refilled.

Q: MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE PLANS TO TAKE A CRUISE.  WILL YOU PRESCRIBE THE SEA-SICKNESS PATCH? ​

A: Yes!  The sea-sickness patch is called scopolamine and we will prescribe it even if it is not a refill.  Doc may also prescribe medications for traveler’s diarrhea and malaria prophylaxis according to the CDC guidelines.

Q: HOW MANY PRESCRIPTION WILL DOC REFILL FOR ME?

A: Doc will refill up to 3 prescriptions, and each prescription will have 2 additional refills.
